ARTIST'S STATEMENT
I am inspired by nature and the natural world. I enjoy this world and its shapes, feel and color. My work explores the interaction between my world and my imagination. My intention is to simplify shapes and use color as part of the dance and bring out my joy of life. This is my story and its evolution with time and experience.

I am compelled to create what I do as a way to learn about myself. The exploration is both a challenge and an inner connection to meaning and what matters most to me. Art is that connection that distinguishes humans from other mammals through its appreciation and its creation. Art is a way of finding meaning and exploring interconnectedness of the world. I hope the view will connect with the content of my work.
